ITH & Partners (ITH) is committed to protecting your privacy online. Our policy below explains how we will do this.

WHY DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA?

(i) To manage and maintain the relationships (membership, attendance at events, volunteer, speaker, supplier, etc.) established with ITH;

(ii) To perform tasks in order to manage, administer, expand and improve the content, information and services offered by ITH; and,

(iii) To deliver the relevant content via newsletter, email, social media, website and events as appropriate.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT ON MEMBERS and others?

  • Name, contact details, employment, social media links, events attended, payments made, and other personal information like titles, citizenship, city and country and gender.

  • From time to time we will ask you for further information, for example if you make a purchase or enter a competition.

  • We will use cookies. For an explanation, see the section on cookies below.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT ON NON-MEMBERS?

  • We collect email addresses.

  • For free registrations: we ask you provide for your name, email address, phone number, job title, company and city.

  • Register for an event: email address, phone number, name, company, job title.

  • If your registration is not timely registered in the system, or you visit as a guest, upon registration we ask you to register by writing down your name and email.

  • From time to time we will ask you for further information, for example if you make a purchase or enter a competition.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT AT EVENTS?

  • We may take photographs at our events to be used on social media, press releases, in brochures or reports.

  • By attending, you authorize ITH to use your image freely and worldwide in relation to the events in which ITH participates. You can, however, revoke this consent at any time, although we would ask that you please do so before the events take place by contacting our events team by email: postbox@ith.eu

  • We may also record events with a speaker, including questions from the audience. Again, please let us know in advance if you wish to withhold your consent to inclusion in any recording by contacting postbox@ith.eu
     

USE OF COOKIES

Cookies are small files which many websites transfer to your hard disk. They can inform the website what pages you visit, and your preferences, which enable websites to provide you with a more personalized service. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you before accepting them.

HOW DO WE USE MEMBER INFORMATION?

We use the member information to help us understand more about what our members want and to deliver better services. We also use the information to understand how our website is used, to improve our site, and to send you information about us and our events or activities which we think may be of interest to you, both electronically or otherwise.

HOW DO WE USE NON-MEMBER INFORMATION?

We use your email address to send marketing materials and information about services and upcoming events.

WHEN DO WE SHARE INFORMATION?

We do not sell or give away your personal information to others, with the exception of our network within ITH   with whom we do share member information in order to deliver membership services. Otherwise we do not share your information with our sponsors.

A number of other people's websites might have links on our site. If you link to their sites, they may collect information. Such sites are not within our control and are not covered by this privacy statement.

If we believe that your use of the site is unlawful or damaging to others, we reserve the right to disclose the information we have obtained through the site about you to the extent that it is reasonably necessary in our opinion to prevent, remedy or take action in relation to such conduct.

THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS

We may also share your data with our auditor, in order to comply with our tax obligations.
