About us

ITH & Partners is owned and managed by Ingunn Hofseth. She is also the President and CEO of HSMAI Region Europe based out of London.

Ingunn has an extensive background from the hospitality and travel industry and with association management. She has her background from travel agencies and tour operators like the danish Ecco Rejser, and the scandinavian companies VING and Fritidsresor. She became a leader at the age of 23 as the booking manager for Fritidsresor in Greece managing 10 incoming flights per week from Scandinavia and a team of 35 people. For two years she was also the general manager for a small travel agency that was part of WINGE Reisebureau. She has lived and worked in several countries. She also worked for one of the world's leading cruise line Royal Viking Line for several years before she went back to Norway to study economics at BI Norwegian Business School. At the same time she founded her own agency for conferences and meetings that she sold after some years and became a consultant within the hotel industry. In 1993 she became active with HSMAI (Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International) Norway as one of their volunteers. A couple of years afterwards she became their Managing Director in Norway. Under her visionary leadership, HSMAI in Norway has had an enormous growth and with a high retention factor over the years and they have become one of the leading associations in the hotel and travel industry. She was elected as vice chair for HSMAI Global Board of Directors in 2002. By the end of 2015 HSMAI Region Europe was founded based out of London and Ingunn became their President and CEO.

As of January 2021, ITH & Partners has been providing administrative services to NBTA – Norwegian Business Travel Association (part of GBTA).
